Utica Man Indicted On Weapons Charges
A Utica man has been indicted on weapons charges following a three-month investigation.
According to the Oneida County Sheriff's Office, police received information in July that 35-year old Joseph Williams was in possession of an illegal firearm.
Police searched his home and allegedly found a loaded semi-automatic pistol and a loaded magazine of ammunition, along with a small quantity of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
The pistol had been reported stolen form a home in Herkimer County.
Williams was charged with two counts of criminal possession of a weapon and one count of criminal possession of a firearm
