Verona, NY (WIBX) - A Utica man is facing four charges after being involved in a domestic dispute at the Turning Stone Casino.

State Police say Selvedin Nuhanovic, 27, of Kathleen Street in Utica,  was involved in a physical altercation with a 29-year-old woman on December 11.

According to officers, Nuhanovic allegedly punched and choked the victim at the Turning Stone Hotel, even though the victim had an order of protection, through the City of Utica, against him.

Nuhanovic is being charged with Aggravated Criminal Contempt, Assault, Criminal Obstruction of Breathing and, later, Criminal Mischief, after he punched a hole in  the wall o the casino security office.

He was remanded to the Oneida County Jail in lieu of $50,000 cash or $100,000 bond.
