Utica Man Pleads Guilty To Manslaughter

A Utica man has pleaded guilty in Oneida County Court to manslaughter in the shooting death of another man in August.

18-year old Elijah Brown was originally charged with second-degree murder in the death of Christopher Bush.

Utica Police say Brown shot and killed Bush on Brinkerhoff Avenue over an apparent drug deal gone bad.

Brown will be sentenced on December 16th.
