Utica Man Pleads Guilty To Possession Of A Firearm
A Utica man has pleaded guilty to being a felon in possession of a firearm and ammunition.
The U.S. Attorney's Office says 23-year old Harold Jones admitted to being in possession of a 40 caliber pistol and 12 rounds of ammunition in April of this year.
Because of previous felony convictions for a drug offense and attempted burglary, Jones was prohibited from possessing the gun and ammunition.
Jones faces up to ten years in prison and three years post-release supervision when he's sentenced in March.
