A Utica man who is on parole was arrested after Utica Police and members of New York State Parole conducted a visit of his home.

30-year old Fredy Farley is facing numerous charges including criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminal possession of a firearm and criminal possession of a weapon.

Police say after executing a search warrant, they found several handguns inside Farley's home, along with three holsters, two AK style high capacity magazines and a quantity of loose ammunition.

A quantity of crack cocaine and heroin was also allegedly found.

Additional charges are pending.

The investigation was conducted by the Utica Police Department GIVE Unit, working under a DCJS funded GIVE (Gun Involved Violence Elimination) Grant.
