A Physician from Utica has been acquitted of fraud after a four week trial.

Dillip Kachare was found not guilty on three counts of health care fraud and 16 counts of mail fraud.

Kachare's trial stemmed from an investigation conducted by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and the FBI.

Today's verdict follows a prior three week trial in the Fall of 2013 when a mistrial was declared after a jury was unable to reach a decision after three days of deliberation.
