Utica Police: Alleged Wedding Thief Caught

A Whitesboro man has been arrested for allegedly stealing wedding cards and their contents from wedding boxes at two different receptions.

Utica Police say the weddings were held at two different venues in Utica on July 23rd..

40-year old Joseph Ciszek is charged with grand larceny and two counts of petty larceny.

Ciszek was not an invited guest at either wedding.

Police say their investigation is continuing.
