Utica Police Continue Monitoring of Speeding in School Zones

Police will be paying extra attention to speeding in school zones in an effort to remind drivers to obey speed limits in those zones after receiving several complaints about speeding near schools.

Last week Utica Police issued tickets near Albany Elementary and General Herkimer Elementary Schools.

Officials say the enforcement detail will continue in school zones throughout the city.
