Utica Police Investigate Fake Bills

Utica Police say someone has been handing out "funny money."

The UPD, along with the Secret Service and other local police agencies, are investigating about 50 reports of counterfeit bills being passed within the past month.

Police are recommending business owners and employees take a little extra time to examine any money given to them to avoid being passed any fake bills.

If you have a counterfeit bill, you're asked to call Utica Police at 735-3301.
