Utica Police Investigate Homicide In Cornhill

UPDATE: The victim has been identified as 29-year-old Christopher Bush. Police say he's from Augusta, Georgia and had just recently moved to Utica.

Utica Police are investigating a homicide that happened on Friday afternoon on the 1300 block of Brinkerhoff Avenue.

Police say when officers arrived on the scene, they found a man down in the roadway.

He was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead due to injuries sustained by gunfire.

The victim has not been identified as police work to contact his family.
