Utica Police Investigate Homicide On Jay Street [UPDATE]

Utica Police are investigating a homicide.

Officers were called to the Six Nations Apartments on Jay Street at around midnight Monday for shots fired. When they arrived, they found a man in the parking lot who had been shot. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police are waiting for a positive identification before releasing the victim's name.

UPDATE; 2:19 p.m.- Utica Police have identified the victim as 43-year old Andrew Abston of Utica.
