Utica Police Investigate Kossuth Avenue Shooting

Utica Police are investigating a shots fired incident on the 500 block of Kossuth Avenue.

Officers found a man suffering from a gunshot wound to the abdomen at around 6:00 last Friday evening.

The man told police he was walking when he got shot and that he had his head down and didn't see what happened.  Police say since the day of the shooting, the victim has not provided any information that points to a suspect and his injuries are consistent with being shot at point blank range.

Investigators have obtained video evidence which shows the man was alone at the time of the shooting.
