Utica Police are investigating a robbery that happened on Saturday afternoon at the Adirondack Bank on Genesee Street in South Utica.

Police say a man walked into the bank just after 12:30, passed a note to the teller demanding and threatening violence if the alarm was activated. They say no weapon was displayed

The suspect left the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash.  He was last seen traveling westbound towards Genesse Street.
