Utica Police Investigating Armed Robbery at GPO Credit Union

Just after 4:00 p.m. on Monday Utica Police responded to a report of a robbery at the GPO Federal Credit Union located on the corner of Bleecker Street and John Street. Police have a description and photos of the suspect and are looking for any information possible that may lead to his arrest.

Utica Police say "a black male wearing a gray and green hooded sweatshirt entered the credit unit and displayed a sliver handgun (revolver) and demanded money from employees. During the course of the robbery the handgun was fired, but no one was injured. The suspect fled the scene south toward Bleecker St. with undisclosed sum of money."
