Utica Police Investigating Attempted Robbery

Utica, NY (WIBX) – Utica Police are investigating an attempted armed robbery that happened last night at the Ridgewood Market at 2514 Oneida Street.

Police say a man entered the store at around 7:00, pointed a handgun at the clerk and demanded money from the cash register.

The man left the store without any money.

The suspect was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and mask and was last seen running south on Oneida Street.
