Utica Police Investigating Homicide

Utica, NY (WIBX) - Utica Police are investigating the city's second homicide of the year.

Police say a man was shot early this morning in the area of James and West Streets.

He was taken to St. Elizabeth Medical Center, where he died.

A person was taken into custody near the scene of the shooting, but hasn't been charged.

The name of the victim has not been released.
