Utica Police are investigating a robbery at the Key Bank at 255 Genesee Street.

Chief Mark Williams says a white man wearing a black scarf over his face entered the bank just before 12:30 Tuesday afternoon, approached the counter and demanded money.

Williams says the teller gave the man an undisclosed amount of money and a red dye pack.

The suspect left the bank on foot, heading southbound on King Street.

Anyone with information on the robbery is asked to call the UPD at 315-223-3519.
