Utica Police are investigating a pair of shootings that took place on Sunday night.

The first happened just before 9:00 in the area of James and Kemble Streets.

The victim was found on the 15-hundred block of Oneida Street and taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

At around 11:00, police received a report of shots fired on the 100 block of Gold Street.

When officers arrived, they reviewed security footage of two groups that appeared to be shooting at each other.

Lt. Bryan Coromato says one group entered a residence on Gold Street and the others fled the scene.

Officers obtained evidence from the home for their investigation, which is ongoing

Coromato says police are looking into the possibility that the shootings are related.
