Utica, NY (WIBX) - According to Utica Police, 22 year old Jessica Myers was arrested for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance after police found her in her car, which was parked in front of a fire hydrant, with Methadone pills. Authorities arrested her near the corner of Steuben and Rutger Streets at roughly 3 A.M. Saturday morning.

Hours later, 33 year old Miguel Rojas was also arrested, after police observed him park his vehicle in a "No Parking" zone. As UPD was preparing to issue a parking ticket, Rojas returned and was subsequently arrested on an active bench warrant.

A search of his person turned up an orange pill, later identified as "Suboxone", an opioid similar to morphine and heroin. Rojas was arrested for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance.
