Utica Police Probe Shots Fired On Scott Street

As Utica Police were investigating Monday morning's homicide on Jay Street, officers responded to a shots fired call on Scott Street.

Officers found 12 spent bullet shell casing in the parking lot of the First Presbyterian Church.

Police say it appears the shooter stood in the parking lot while firing shots into a home and vehicle at 9 Scott Street.

No was injured and the investigation is continuing.

There's no word if the two shooting incidents are related.
