Utica Police Receive Complaints Of Illegal Parking In City Parks

Utica Police say they've recently received several complaints regarding illegal parking in City parks.

The UPD says parking motor vehicles on the lawns and grassed areas of public parks is prohibited.

For example, in Proctor Park there is no parking on the access road/walkway in between the designated parking areas on Welshbush Road. and Proctor Park Drive.

They say violators are subject to enforcement action.

Police are reminding motorists to use the designated parking areas at all City parks.
