Utica Police Respond To 24 Shots Fired Calls

It's been a busy month for Utica Police.

Over a 39-day period beginning on April 1st, the UPD responded to 24 "shots fired" calls..

Three people were shot and six of the calls were actually confirmed.

Police say Sundays and Mondays are the days with the largest percentage of calls for shots fired.

The 9 to 11 p.m. timeframe had the largest percentage of when shots fired were reported.
