Utica Police Target School Zone Speeders

Utica Police recently conducted another speed enforcement detail in front of Albany Elementary School following complaints of motorists ignoring the school speed limit.

Officers wrote a total of 13 traffic summonses -- 11 were for speeding in a posted school zone.

Police say the traffic details will continue in various school zones around the city. The UPD is encouraging motorists traveling in school zones to obey all traffic laws.
