Utica Police Use Naloxone To Save Man’s Life
Law enforcement's use of the drug naloxone saved another local life after an apparent heroin overdose this weekend.
The lastest incident happened early Sunday morning after Utica Police responded to a home on Saratoga Street.
Officers found a 32-year-old man unconscious and overdosing, but he was revived using a naloxone kit which Utica Police have been equipped with since the beginning of the year.
It's already the second time Utica Police have used it to save a life.
