Utica Police Warn Of Phone Scam

Utica Police say phone calls being made soliciting money for injured and retired Utica Police Officers are a scam.

They say the Utica Police Department and the Utica Police PBA are not soliciting money for any cause.

Anyone who receives a call is asked to contact Utica Police at 735-3301 and if possible, provide them with a phone number from the call.

Police have been provided with the number of 315-292-6771, which has been used in some of the calls.
