Utica, NY (WIBX) - If the only thing you can draw are stick figures, the Utica Public Library may be able to help you expand your artistic horizons.

Starting July 11th, students can attend a series of four Wednesday evening art classes to to learn new art skills.

Taught by professional artist Joseph Hinkson, students will learn how to draw shapes, proper shading techniques, color schemes and blending.

The classes are free, but space is limited and registration is required to attend. Registration will open on June 11th. To sign up, call the library at 735-2279 or visit uticapubliclibrary.org.
