Utica-Rome Gas Prices Averaging $4 A Gallon

Utica, NY (WIBX) - It's now costing an average of $4.00 a gallon for gas in the Utica-Rome area.

AAA's Ed Welsh says prices hit the four-buck a gallon mark today.

At this time last year, we were paying an average of $3.69 cents a gallon.

Welsh says he expects to see prices top the all-time high of $4.23 a gallon set in June of 2008, with prices peaking at $4.45 to $4.55 a gallon somewhere between April 15th and May 15th

New York is one of eight states where gas prices are averaging $4.00 a gallon.
