Utica Rome Gas Prices Remain Steady

There's a bit of good news at the gas pumps

Ed Welsh of AAA Central New York says the average price for a gallon of gas in the Utica-Rome area is $3.66.

That's up a penny from last week, but down 3 cents a gallon from a month ago.

He says the price is about 30 cents less than a year ago at this time.

Welsh says he expects gas prices to remain relatively flat over the next few weeks.

The average statewide price is $3.62.
