Utica Rome Unemployment Rate Down In December

The New York State Department of Labor is releasing local unemployment rates for December.

In the Utica-Rome area, the unemployment rate last month was 5%.  That's down from 5.9% in December 2014.

The statewide jobless rate remained at 4.8% last month, its lowest level since November 2007.
