Utica-Rome Unemployment Rate Down In September
The local unemployment numbers for September are out and it's good news for our area.

The New York State Department of Labor says the jobless rate in the Utica-Rome area last month was 5.9%.
That's down from the September 2013 rate of 7.2%.
The statewide unemployment rate last month was 6.2%, its lowest level since October 2008.
