The Utica Salvation Army is looking for volunteer bellringers for its Red Kettle Campaign.

“We need individuals, families, groups – all are welcome,” said  Lt. Michael Harrington, who is officer-in-charge of the Utica Salvation Army along with his wife, Lt. Lena Harrington.

“If you want to give back to the community,” he said, “there’s no better way than to ring a little bell, offer a smile and say ‘Merry Christmas’ and ‘Happy Holidays’ – as well as thank those who drop coins and dollar bills into the kettle to help those in need this Christmas.”

To volunteer to be a bellringer, call the Utica Salvation Army at 315-724-8736, or sign up online at salvationarmyempirestate.org.
