Utica Teen Charged In November Shooting Incident

A two-month long investigation into a shooting incident in the area of Kossuth Avenue and Mary Street in Utica has led to the arrest of a Utica teen.

The shots fired incident happened on November 16th of last year.

18-year old Jachi Wilder is facing charges including criminal possession of a weapon, menacing and reckless endangerment.

Utica Police say Wilder allegedly shot at a vehicle that was occupied by four people, including a one-year old child.

Police say the vehicle, which was struck once, was the intended target of Wilder.
