Utica Teen Charged In Shots Fired Incident

A Utica teen has been arrested in connection with an October 7th "shots fired" incident at Oneida and James Streets.

17-year old Jailan Liggins was spotted last night riding his bicycle and was taken into custody after leading officers on a foot chase.

Utica Police say he allegedly fought with officers when they tried to arrest him.

Liggins is charged with reckless endangerment and criminal possession of a weapon.
