Utica Teen Facing Charges

Utica, NY (WIBX) – A Utica teen is facing charges after a traffic stop on Bleecker Street.
A Utica Police officer had stopped the vehicle for a traffic violatiion and was
interviewing the driver when he smelled marijuana coming from the vehicle.
Police say a passenger was in possession of a handgun and pot.
18-year old Daverin Simpson was arrested a charged with criminal possession of a weapon and unlawul possession of marijuana.
