Utica To Host AHL All Star Challenge Tonight

The eyes of the hockey world will be on Utica tonight.

The 2018 AHL All-Star Challenge takes place at the Adirondack Bank Center at the Utica Memorial Auditorium at 7:00.

Four teams will participate in a round-robin tournament featuring six games of 10 minutes each.

The two teams with the best records at the end of round-robin play will face off for the championship.

The games will be played 3-on-3.

Goalie Thatcher Demko and forward Reid Boucher will represent the Utica Comets.

Tonight's action will be televised to national audiences on the NHL Network in the U.S. and on Sportsnet across Canada.

The Eastern Conference topped the Western Conference, 18-12 on Sunday night in the  AHL All-Star Skills Competition.
