Utica Travel Advisory: Route 5S Westbound

A travel advisory continues in Utica, New York today.Route 5S westbound (Oriskany Street) between Cornelia Street and Schuyler Street will be closed to traffic to permit demolition work to continue on the old Oriskany Street Bridge.

The New York State Department of Transportation says the closure will take place tonight between 7:00pm tonight and 6:00am Saturday morning.

Signed detours are in place.

Drivers are advised to be extra cautious in the area.
