Utica Travel Advisory: Route 5S Westbound Oriskany Street

A traffic advisory has been issued for the city of Utica, New York through Friday.

Route 5S westbound (Oriskany Street) between Cornelia and Schuyler Streets will be closed to all traffic to permit demolition work on the Old Oriskany Street Bridge.

The New York State Department of Transportation says the closure will take each night from 7:00pm until 6:00am the following morning.

Signed detours will be in place.

Drivers are advised to use extra caution in the area.
