A Utica woman has been arrested for allegedly trying to assault a Social Worker at the Oneida County Office Building.

The Oneida County Sheriff's Office says deputies had to step between 27-year old Jessica Leddick and the worker to avoid a confrontation.

The say Leddick was loud, using obscene language and refused to comply with the orders of deputies to cease her behavior.

She allegedly pushed one of the deputies into a doorway as she attempted to flee the building and had to be physically restrained.

Leddick was charged with resisting arrest, harassment and disorderly conduct.
