Utica Woman Arrested After Violating Order Of Protection

Utica, NY (WIBX) - A Utica woman is facing charges for allegedly pulling a knife on a man and violating an order of protection.

A call to police for a domestic incident sent an officer into a home on Park Avenue.  There was a fight between a man and 26-year old Lea Byrd., who apparently entered the man's home and refused to leave.

The man said that she pulled a knife an him.  After learning that there was an active order of protection against the woman, police arrested Byrd and charged her with menacing and criminal contempt.
