Utica Woman Arrested and Charged for Alleged Burglary at Yorkville Car Wash

A Utica woman is facing a long list of charges following an alleged burglary at the Yorkville Car Wash on Oriskany Boulevard.

According to Yorkville Police, the owners of Yorkville Car Wash entered the store and encountered the female suspect in the process of the burglary.

The owner held the suspect in the car wash until police arrived. Police have arrested Jenell Smith of Utica and charged her with Burglary, Criminal Mischief, Petit Larcent and other charges.

She was also arrested on an active warrant for parole violation. She's been remanded to Oneida County Jail on $20,000 Cash bail or $40,000 bond.
