Utica, NY (WIBX) - A local Book Keeper is charged with Grand Larceny in the Second Degree.

A three-month investigation with the Oneida County District Attorney's Office led to the arrest of 49-year-old Karen Wilson of Utica.

Chief Investigator James Helmer says Wilson was employed at a local insurance company, and allegedly stole more than $50,000 from the Agency Corporate and Premium Bank Accounts.

She used this money to make payments on her personal credit cards, her 401 K loan, and her auto and home insurance premiums.

Wilson was arraigned in the Utica City Court where she plead not guilty and was released.

Her case was ajourned until September 8, 2011.
