Utica Woman Arrested Twice In Less Than 24-Hours

Utica, NY (WIBX) - Yesterday, Utica Police arrested 27-year-old Danielle Giruzzi, for allegedly stealing a shopping cart full of shrimp from Price Chopper in South Utica. The suspect was charged with Petit Larcey for the incident officials say occurred on March 15, 2011, and was arrainged in Utica City Court. After receiving an appearance ticket the suspect was released.

However, around 2:30 a.m. today, Giruzzi was placed under arrest again, and this time, for allegedly engaging in Prostitution. Giruzzi of Van Roen Road in Utica was taken to the City lockup and will answer all charges at a later date in court. According to the report, the suspect was arrested by UPD's Special Operations Unit.
