Utica Woman Charged With DWI After Accident
A Utica woman is facing DWI charges after allegedly driving her car over a curb and into a utility pole.
Shortly after midnight on Monday, November 11, 2013 Utica Police officers responded to a call at the corner of Cornelia and Oriskany Streets. When they arrived they spoke with the driver of the car, 47-year old Mary Wright, and became concerned that she may not have been sober. According to police it was discovered that she had a blood alcohol concentration of .13-percent.
Wright was charged with two counts of driving while intoxicated and driving without a license. She also received several traffic tickets.
