A three-month investigation by the Oneida County Sheriff's Office into the sale of crack cocaine has led to the arrest of a Utica woman.

58-year old Joan Lashley is facing several charges, including criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell.

Deputies searched a home on Panisei Avenue in Rome, where they allegedly found over 9 grams of crack packaged for sale.

Lashley was arraigned in Rome City Court and sent to the Oneida County Jail on $20,000 bail.

The investigation is continuing and more charges are pending.
