Utica Woman Hits Garbage Truck, Charged With DWI

An early morning hit and run resulted in the arrest of a Utica woman.

Utica Police responded to Court Street after a SUV allegedly struck a garbage truck and drove off. The SUV was later found at the corner of Stark and Court Streets.

An investigation revealed that the driver, Michelle Robinson, 50, had a blood alcohol content of .09 percent.

Robinson is charged with Leaving the Scene of a Motor Vehicle Accident and two counts of DWI.
