Utica Women Face Charges After Shoplifting Incident

Three Utica women are facing charges after a shoplifting incident at the Wal Mart on Commercial Drive.

New Hartford Police say Khadejah Williams, Melyra Maddox and Tiashona Hollingshead allegedly filled several shopping carts with merchandise and left the store without paying.

The  merchandise was valued at over $2,600.

All three were charged with grand larceny.

Maddox was also charged with resisting arrest and Williams was charged with unlawful possession of marijuanac
