Players from the area's past semi-pro football teams are planning to suit up for one more game to benefit the family of a former teammate who recently passed away unexpectedly.

Dan Herman joined WIBX First News with Keeler in the Morning to share details of the game, which is being played on Saturday June 27, 2015 at Sauquoit High School, featuring ex-players from the Mohawk Valley Vikings and Utica Yarddawgs. The game will benefit the family of Tim Brower, who left two young children behind.

Herman says many of the players decided to come out of retirement to play one last game, but they're in need of equipment and prizes/donations to raffle off - more info here.

Admission to the game is $5 for adults, Kids 12 and under are free.
