Utica Zoo Launches Campaign To Upgrade Primate Building

The Utica Zoo is launching a fundraising campaign to make renovations to its Primate Building  

Executive Director Andria Heath say the Primate Building was built in 1927 and is in need of modern zoological upgrades.  She the zoo's primates deserve better than the buildings steel bar and sterile glass look.

Heath says they're calling the campaign "We Don't Like it Either", with the tag line "so help us change it."

The first phase of renovations will cost $350,000..  Heath says they hope to begin the first phase by the spring.
