Utica Zoo Road Renamed

The Utica Zoo has a new address.

A section of the former Steele Hill Road has been changed to One Utica Zoo Way.

Local lawmakers, including Utica Councilman Joe Marino, unveiled the new sign this morning.

Marino sponsored legislation leading to the name change.

The Zoo's Executive Director Andria Heath, says the new name will make it easier for visitors to find the zoo.

Meanwhile, the Utica Zoo is closed today due to damage sustained during last night's storm.
