Utica, NY (WIBX) - He entertained thousands of visitors for nearly three decades, but officials with the Utica Zoo have sadly announced that Lenny the sea lion has died.

 
He arrived at the Utica Zoo in 1981 and was one of the oldest sea lions living in captivity in the US, said Development Director Beth Irons.
Lenny was discovered as an orphan pup over 30-years-ago in California and could be not be released because of his inability to hunt for live fish, according to an release from the Utica Zoo.
